Giant Day is the new project of Elephant 6 Collective veterans Derek Almstead and Emily Growden, whose latest musical iteration combines psych, art rock, post-punk and dream pop influences into a distinctive new sound. Buffalo Stance is exotic synth squelches and groovy rhythms. 5th World combines woodwinds, computer music and modular synthesizers to create ambient textures, riffs and basslines, synced with electronic drums and live percussion.
