This project seeks to educate and inform a safer atmosphere while beautifying underutilized spaces with a creative mural by and for the community. The collaborative artist, LindoYes, will provide a shortened version of their sold out autobiographical performance of “EnDoor”, a nuanced take on ballet and spoken word, for community participants begin to process their ideas for the community mural.
This unique community event is designed to promote mental and physical well-being while also addressing important safety issues felt by our city and neighbors. The play features a dramatic presentation focusing on themes including internal conflict resolution, communication, and self-care. Creating a sense of connection and safety encourages community members to take an active role in promoting health and wellness within the environment for themselves as well as those around them.
