Inclined Dance Project presents T U R F  

T U R F is an immersive dance experience that places the audience in and around the performance space in an unconventional theater setup. Inspired by our perceptions of environments, transitory locations, and our ability to deal with change, the work features 6  dancers maneuvering their way through an ever-evolving landscape forcing the artists to adapt to continual change. Performed by New York City based Inclined Dance Project, the all-female cast invites the audience to experience dance from a fresh point of view and explore new perceptions of their own environments.

Inclined Dance Project is a Brooklyn, NY based all-female contemporary dance company founded in 2009 by Artistic Director Kristen Klein. The company has performed throughout New York, New England, and the Tri-State area and has extended their reach to the west coast in San Francisco and overseas in Osaka, Japan. Inclined Dance Project creates dance works inspired and propelled by human experiences, and aims to develop pieces that defy the stereotypes of a female dancer.
