House Cat presents...
.RECLAMATION.
poetry performance and q&a
(+ a dance party intermission!)
Who is awarded softness and why? Who is taught to apologize when taking up space and how has that been handed down? Black and brown femmes deserve space to heal, to speak on our experiences, to reclaim our childhood. Our sexuality. Our lives. This is what “Reclamation” seeks to do through poetry performance, conversation, and tenderness.
